: I think you are better off having a body shop do the work. For one, you must remove the whole top above the cowl area(where windshiel wimpers mount, right behind hood area). This body panel is also part of the windshield mounting area(sorry, I am no good at explaining this). If something isn't properly realigned, you will have major problems. It is just a good idea to have it done professionally. After the top part is removed, you must then cut out the cowl panel as well. Just a big mess. I have two different issues from two different Mustang mags detailing the process. It is very tricky.
