: I am the one who put Canadian Mustang parts on my Maverick...but it was everything BUT the springs. In the research I have done, Mustang springs ARE NOT the same as a Maverick. I think I read somewhere that Mustangs were available with 23 different springs.
: Here are two sources: Eaton Detroit Springs made my NEW front springs, specifically for my application: 1972 Grabber, 302, cast iron heads, power steering, air conditioning....price: $120
: Also Espo Springs can make them....I think theirs are $50
: Hope this helps.
My Bad, Craig. I thought you put springs in too. When you say they are NOT the same, are you referring to spring rate or dimensions?

: : Just passing along advice given to me. The diminsions, as far as size of the spring, are the same. I was not recommending a big block spring for a small block application. I didn't think I had to point that out, as Mavericks never came with a big block.
: : Check the archives. Somebody here put small block performance springs from Canadien Maustang, I think, into their Maverick and it worked great. I am going to do the same soon and will report on the results.
