: George; I have a friend that owns a trim shop, and when he get door panels like ours to fix, he uses heavy duty velcro. Just glue or staple the hook side to the door, the loop side to the door panel, and you can remove it when you like, no clips, and it stays in place. Try it, let us know if it is an improvement.
