: I have put 2 bellhousing on and now the one I have on the car is cracked. I have put 3 starters on this year ( last 2 months) The starters are busting at the head, Queston is: I am sure the starters breaking is do to the cracked bellhousing, but why am I busting bellhousing. The last bellhousing I put on lasted about 12 passes on 1/8th. Someone mention the body torque during the launch could be doing it, I don't have a roll cage and they said that cage would fix it. Any other suggestions or imput would be appreciated.
