: : : Thanks again Ken for your help...it is pretty hard to get under the dash to read the fuse descriptions. Can you provide more information as to what each fuse protects ??? Thanx again Larry:
1---emg. flashers,cigar lighter,clock feed.
2---courtesy, dome,glovebox,luggage,ign buzzer warning.
3---insturments,cluster lights,trans shift quad,radio pilot,heater/ac panel,wipers,ashtray,clock illum.
4---warning lights,throttle solenoid,seat belt buzzer.
5---heater/def,ac feed.
6---back up,radio,wind washer.
7---optional equip feed.
ckt bkr on head light sw.= 12 amp/40/50 watt lamps.18 amp w/50/60 watt lamps. (With head light switch)
ckt bkr=15 amp for horn,side marker,ft&re park/lisc lamps.....................(With head light switch)
charging system uses inline fusable link.
This data is from the Chilton book.
Should you upgrade to the brighter head lamps, check the rating on the circuit breaker that feed them if you begin to have a problem after there on a while.
Some items may not apply to your model.
Ken.
