Here's more specific directions (according to Chilton's):
Loosen the nut, then tighten in inner bolt to 10ft/lbs (if you don't have a torque wrench, 10ft/lbs is pretty easy to guess--just tighten until it starts to get a little difficult). From there, back the screw off exactly 1 3/4 turns, and hold it in place while you tighten the locknut down.
These directions are for the Intermediate band (the one towards the front of the car). It's different for the other band, so if you need those directions let me know.
