: I finally ran into the owner of this car that I have featured on my "Maverick Heaven" website. He bought this car off the showroom floor when it was brand new. It used to be black with silver stripes, red bucket seat interior. He absolutely refuses to sell the car. He says he wants to restore it, but he also says he knows he never will. The car is not worth restoring...the torque boxes are the worst I have ever seen. He says his kids will probably sell it when he dies...which is probably true.. I just hate to see good parts go to waste.
