the studs are threaded and screw in to the bracket behind the firewall inside the car. I know AMK sells new ones.

: How are the Master cylinder studs mounted on the firewall? My project car has no studs, just two holes through to the inside of the car. I know that the mounting studs should be 3/8", but where can I get them or can I just use long 3/8" bolts from inside? -Doug
