According to me, Chris, they are not necessarily mythical: I just don't THINK they exist, but I don't claim this is a fact. As to the Shelby registry; who puts it out? Again, I could be wrong, but I don't think it's Shelby, but rather some club member or members. John B.

: : Hi Chris; As nice as it would be to be able to believe in Shelby Mavericks, the general conscensus is that they are mythical, i.e., the product of wishful thinking and healthy imagining. HOWEVER, if you ever come up with proof to the contrary, please share it with us asap. On this board, this discovery would give you the same kind of status as the locating of the holy grail, or a Bigfoot colony! Good hunting. John B.
: : : hi, just wondered if anyone had any info and or photos on the shelby maverick. I know of one link but it wont display. they were made in 1971 by shelby de mexico. production was around 300 units from reports.thanks.

: so, since according to you these are mythical, why are they listed in the shelby registry?I agree they are not common and no-one I know has seen them, but to discount them as fictional?basically I'm looking for more info than what has already been printed in those few spots and some photos if possible. but thanks
