I installed the 4 leaf springs from JC whitney on my 70 Maverick with no problems, they fit just fine. I also bought the shackle kit, but I DO NOT recommend it because after 3 months the rubber fell apart and I needed new ones again. The rubber was also too small for the springs, I don't understand why they made them so cheap. But the springs themselves are great, mine doesn't sag one bit. It handles and rides like a dream.
