Charlie hit it on the head, its a helluvalot of work, the Mav is a unibody, unlike every 4wd I've ever seen... lots of work involved including making damn near an entire custom lower half of a Mav, floorpans, etc...
if you go through with it, good luck and kudos to the work involved.
: i would like to convert my '77 Maverick to a slightly jacked up 4WD. i guess you could say it would be an SUV. but i have no idea how to get started. if anyone could give me any insight it would be very helpful.
