: Sorry this is a bit off topic, but...
: My brother and I were combing junkyards this past week and we found a 1969 Falcon Futura Sports Coupe. It has no engine or trans, but the rest of the car is spotless and complete. Guy wants $150.00 for it ($200 by the time he tows it to my brother's house). My bro is a big GM guy, but doesn't have a project right now & I would like to see him get into a nice Ford (a real car, for once). Plus, with me building a 71 Grabber, the cars are similar enough that we can pool resources (and strike up a friendly competition of sorts).
: So I guess I am just wanting opinions regarding the project-worthiness of Falcons, and whether that model is one that would be worth the time and effort. Any and all opinions are appreciated.
: P.S. The pic is just of a similar falcon that I found on the net. I think it makes a pretty cool ride, so help me convince my brother to buy it, will ya!

its a very worthy buy. especially if it is an original V8 car.
the 67-69 falcons shared the same chassis as the 67-68 mustangs.
its essentially, a poor mans mustang. it is the car the maverick replaced.
most hipo or suspension technology for mustangs, applies to falcons too.
it sounds like a steal of a deal.
and any V8 will make it fly.
i would be grateful that i didnt have an engine in it. do it your own way.
tell your GM buddy that its a great prospect.
the falcons are gaining more and more appreciable value, now-a-days.
this one sounds like a good investment.
