Finally got it in!!! It would not go in thru the bottom no matter what I did. Since the enigine and tranny were not bolted in yet, I lifted the engine out about nine inches and snaked it in thru the top and used a clothes hanger to wire the header in place. I got under the car and had a friend SLOWLY lower the engine and tranny in while I guided the tail end of the tranny and positioned the header where it needed to go.
I just hope I put the engine together right. I DO NOT want to mess with the header anymore for a while....

Thanks for the help guys, it was appreciated.

Brian

: I am TRYING to install my engine (302), and have a set of Headman headers which I am TRYING to install. I have the engine in the car and have the passenger side header on the engine. The drivers side is being a @#$* pain in the a$$. I have lifted the engine up about three inches with no noticable increas in clearance. I have also turned the sterring wheel all of the way to the right to get the pitman arm out of the way. This is a power steering car and I have also installed the drop bracket for the booster cylinder. Any body have any ideas? Something tells me I am overlooking something simple....

: Thanks,
: Brian
