Hey fellow Maverick fans...
I happened to tune across a program on the History Channel the other night about lost American 20th Century marvels...parts of history like landmarks and such that were demolished and maybe should have been saved..etc..etc...anyway...
there was a segment about the demise of of the trolley system in southern California and as filler film clips showing how the rise of the automobile contributed to all of this they used black and white footage from a Ford plant with Mavericks in it! It was really cool to see rows and rows of pre-1973(small bumpers) Mavericks waiting to go to good homes..almost kept me from falling asleep during the rest of the show... :)
Now I need a time machine to go back and get a couple of Grabbers and bring 'em back with me
