All the ones I ever dealt with were all the same size. Never seen that problem before. Besides, I thought everything was bigger in Texas!!!
: Has anyone ever run into a problem with a Motorcraft replacement solenoid with 4 terminals? I got one for my '77 and the ignition terminal was smaller than the starter terminal. (About the difference between a #8 and a #10 bolt). The two pigtails and the terminals are the same size in my car with an existing Motocraft soleniod, though! We looked at four of them at the auto parts, and they were all the same. I ended up getting a Berg Warner brand instead because the terminals were the same as they sould be. (Incidentally, my '76 has the same size terminals, too). -Doug
