In the 28 years I've been playing with Mavericks, The floor shifter is very rare in both autos & standards. They seemed to be more common in the Comets. I've never seen an auto in a Mav & I've only come across 1 standard (its in a junkyard in PA if anyone's interested). As fars as Mustang & Ford magazine calling us the "red headed step child", in the article I read they called the second generation Mustang that, and Mavericks didnt even get a mention. So I guess were worse.

: The floor shifter in my opinion is pretty rare. We would have to see pictures of the mav to guesstimate at the value. Most people see mavericks as the 'Red Headed stepchild in the blue oval family' (thanks to Mustangs and fords for that quote) Some other people see mavericks and fall in love. You probobly won't get back what what you put into it, but hey if your gonna do all that work yourself, why would you want to sell it? Mavericks compared to new cars are a walk in the park to work on.
