Sorry I can't help you with production numbers, but I would agree with the rest that have said that the floor shifter is a pretty rare option... maybe not one that adds a great deal of resale value, but it's certainly desirable for a project car. My advice would be if you like the car, don't worry about what the resale value may be. If you're like me, you would sell your wife before you sell your car anyhow (only halfway joking).
