You have to drop the entire box, its a lot of trouble but hey you've gotta do it. -CP

: A new heater core cost about $40.00 ,and not that hard to change out on a non A/C car. But I don't know about the ones that have A/C.Good luck!

: : If anyone has an idea what may be causing this i'd love to hear it. I have a 74 2dr mav that came with factory ac. and 302 engine. The guy I got it from put a brand new (or close to it) 6cyl 200 in it, most of the Ac parts removed. The problem is that with the heater hooked up it leaks all my radiator fluid out the evaporator hose onto my trany. Thought I had a bad freeze plug until I dropped the darn thing and saw that stupid hose staring me in the face, and leaking on it too for good measure! Im in Colorado and will need that heater soon. Right now I am getting by by bypassing the heater altogether. Ideas?
