The shop I work at has done some engine swaps and none have taken 8 hrs... Sure it might take that long for you or me but with a lift and cherry picker you're talking 4-5 especially for a car so simple. -CP


: my local shop charges $45 an hour and to to a motor tranny swap with no rebuilding or anything would be about an 8 hour job for them. if the motor needs to be rebuilt then you are looking at about $2000 minimum
