this may sound dumb...
my new toy has a few issues that i need to address.
one of them is the shift select on the column. the car is an automatic.
the shifter is very loose, sloppy, and will slip into reverse from park.
im sure many of yall have encountered this before.
my question(s) is...
can this be tightened or repaired externally, or do i have to remove a steering wheel, and disect a column? (what kind of tools are needed to make the repair?)
a 2nd question is...
is there a kit, or can someone tell me what part(s) need to be replaced?
if so, approximately how much should it cost to make the repair myself?
i hope it something that just merely needs tightening. (one thing that is tight is my budget. lol)
thanks

RR

ps... can someone tell me how to get an autokrafters catalog for maverick?
