I have a tremec3550 in my 65 stang. If you already have a stick, then all you will need is the adapter for the tremec to the factory bell, your existing linkage will work. You will need to fabricate a new tranny crossmember, I have not seen one availible for a mav from the aftermarket. You will also need to shorten your driveshaft and the tremec uses a different yoke, a t-5 would use the existing yoke i believe. Also check your pinion angles, I needed a shim from a 4 wheel drive shop to correct the problem of the longer tranny changing the angle of the driveline.
If you have an auto, then locating the linkage is nearly impossible, I would then look into using a hydraulic clutch settup, they seem to be a nice way of doing it especially with nothing to start with. You should be able to find the clutch pedal from a six stick in a junk yard. I am assuming that you have a v8. Hope this helps a bit, any specific questions feel free to email me.
