Consider taking the power steering out of the car altogether. Mavericks are
pretty easy to convert to manual steering, and it clears the underneath
of the car for headers, and other things. Plus, if the power valve or the
ram cylinder are bad, they are very expensive to fix. You can get the manual
steering components from another car (especially the steering gear), or get
a converter from some of the aftermarket companies that will allow you to
use the stock suspension (about $119.00). Good luck, and let us know how
