I hate to say this but next weekend I am going to begin stripping
down a 1971 Grabber. The interior is pretty ratty the owner before
me put in a roll bar and tore up the ignition. The body is pretty
straight except for the passenger door and fender where they pried it
apart to open the door, also rust in the driver rear end by trunk.
The engine is not running the intake manifold is just laying on it.
It is a 302. The hood is in perfect shape as well as the trunk and
spoiler and the sport mirrors. The car has just sat since 1985.
It a came with two extra doors, extra front and rear fenders. Also
a extra non grabber hood. So needles to say Mark G and I are going
to have some fun next weekend.
Sorry if ridding the world of a Maverick offends any of you but
rest assured the parts will help keep a couple of Mavericks on the
road for another generation because my 73 Grabber will be passed on
to my daughter.
