I'll give this a shot. It could be 1 of 4 models that I have data on. The 431 has an indentation in the top of the tailshaft about 1/3 of the way back, like someone hit it with a pipe. the Speedometer gear goes on the drivers side. The 432 has a bottle shapped tail shaft & There is 2 sets of 3 holes . Looks like a shifter could be installed in 2 different locations. looks like the spedo gear is on the passenger side. This is actually an overdrive trans. The 433 has an even tappered tailshaft & 3 mounting holes. one about in the middle & 2 vertically aligned toward the back. Speedo is on the passenger side. The 434 has an even tappered tailshaft. The 3 shifter holes are the opposite of the 433. ( 2 vertically in the middle & 1 in the back) The speedo is on the drivers side. Hope this helps
