A 1970 Maverick floorboard was never designed for bucket seats...since a 1970 never came with bucket seats as an option. the problem you will run into is on the inside runners of each seat. There is no place in the floorboard for the seat runners. On a 1971 on up car, I believe there are platforms welded in the floorboard for the seat to set on(it's been awhile since I have seen mine).

Anyways, it is still a do-able project, you will just have to figure out how to do it.

: Will the mounts on them work or would a pair of mount brackets off of a 71 comet work better? My mav is a 70.
