Yank a 302 out of a Comet or Mav at a yard here is why.
1. cost...overall the 302 will be cheaper to repair and fix. if you get the engine out of a Mav you will grab the mounts and bits and pieces to make the swap a breeze..........2.You will still be able to use your car while you are rebuilding the 302....3. If you are dead set on the 250 then get the advice from lifford not here. They are the I6 EXPERTS hands down and very reliable.
