I'm not really an expert on Mopars, but the 360 is the same size as a 318, and fairly compact, measure it up with a 302, if its not too much wider it'll fit, of course mounts will have to be fabricated and a driveshaft made. The 4-speed trans would be a bear, an auto would be much easier. -CP
: can a 360 mag. motor go/fit in a maverick? also can a dart 4speed trans go in. i was going to put it in a 65 dart, but the body needs more work than i want to put in it. i saw this 2 door mav. nice body and paint job. no motor or trans. i don't even know year or style. the vin. plate under hood has been taken out. is it anywhere else. other than calling owner, can i find the year out by looking somewhere?
