She went yesterday....
And I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy!!!!
The guy I hired said to come out on tuesday to check up on the progress, he might even have the engine IN!
On top of it, last night he calls and lets me know of a couple of minor problems we might have with the engine (oil pan and dipstick placement) and had me Ok the extra cost for parts.
Engine is pulled from the doner and out!!!
ALSO! he has TWO doner mavs (both have straight bodies but are missing the running gear and have sat for a while) and as a courtesy I am listing the parts in the classifies... One is a 69.5 and the other is probably a '72.
The gas cap on one is a steer head logo, black on chrome...
This guy is AWSOME!!
