By Far the best way to fix a holley carb is to
replace it with an Edebrock Performer. The Edelbrock 600
is the ultimate street carb. I've got one on my built 406
Ford & one will very shortly be on the '70 302 that's gettin
dropped into my Mav....These carbs will make anything run like
a raped ape.
Not that there's anything wrong with a holley - I just don't like 'em
