Just get a good 302 block and get a set of Milidon 4 bolt splayed main caps. A machine shop can drill and tap the block for the 4 bolts and you will be set. It is a very strong way to go and a heck of a lot cheaper than a BOSS or SVO block. Total costs would be around $100 for a block, $200 for the caps, and $150 for drilling, tapping, and align honing the block. So for $450 you will have a strong engine, appose to $800 for a BOSS block, or $2,000 for the SVO.
