using the lights was my first idea. i have heard the legends that shelby used cougar lights but this isnt true. they are t-bird lights from 64 or 65. i have a set and they dont fit the raised part of the maverick where the lights go. you would have to cut it out and weld in a new light panel for it. sorry, i tried it. mike
