i have cut carpet for a variety of cars. of course this is when there is no factory carpet available. the repros like factory are shaped using heat or something im not sure and you cant do that yourself i imagine. go for the replacement it is out there. acc has it. if you cut it yourself it wont look right and when the glue wears off or when your foot kicks it just right then youll have a lousy looking floor. good luck! mike
