: You need a gear puller. Or, you can put the nut back on the shaft just enough to cover the end of the shaft, then you can set in the seat, put your knees behind the steering wheel and provide pressure to get the wheel off while you whack on the nut with a hammer. I would suggest buying a gear puller.

: i have a pulley. i leaned on it pretty good and it would not budge. i did not know if there was a snap ring or something like that i could not see. thanks
