i just mounted the set of 4 leaf heavy duty springs i got from jc whitney. i used the old shackles and had a time locally getting the rear bushings for it. its amazing no auto part store here in socal carries them. one place did. it is a spring shop and they had plenty. the new springs went on smooth with no problems. my mav is a 71. i just wanted to set it straight about the jc whitney springs. mike
