did my Comet have a vinyl roof at one time? The picture of the other four doors i see don't have the chrome strip behind the rear doors at the base of the pillar. I'm thinking it's to cover the edges of a vinyl roof that may have been on there at one time.

And what was the odd vinyl roof that was available for it, something like a houndstooth or herringbone pattern wasn't it?
