The car will produce 3.55/2.78ths more torque at the rear wheels at the same engine RPM. Bear in mind that for the most part TORQUE = acceleration. In general, the more torque you produce at the rear wheels, the faster the car will accelerate.

At 80 mph, you will need 3.55/2.78ths more RPMS to maintain that speed. If you needed 4000 RPMS to maintain 80mph, you'll now need over 5100 RPM!

: how does having say 3.55's instead of 2.78's (or whatever mavs came stock with) help with street driving??? as far as acceleration goes at least. and then how would it affect driving on i25 at 80mph??
