also don't left the car's body weight off the wheels. and keep the weight as close to the regular locations when you weld it in, otherwise you'll twist the body.

: if you have the right welder, cutter & bender do it yourself, if not take it to someone who does and just help them do it. Make sure and put the plates under the car body and bolt it up tight. Make sure you keep the heat away from the brake lines.

: : I am going to put a cage in my Mav. Any one have any tips or things not to do? I am using a hoop from Competition Engineering and fabricating the rest myself. It will be a 8 point cage. I will be leaving all the seats in.
