quick and dirty, thing of the ratio being a multiper for the power, 3.55 X Engine Torque. going to the rear wheels. With the lower gears ( higher numbers) it moves weight easier quicker. But it also means the engine still reaches a certain RPM level as before and less output rpms to the tires which lowers your top end speed. 3.55s are a good in town/highway gear set.
: how does having say 3.55's instead of 2.78's (or whatever mavs came stock with) help with street driving??? as far as acceleration goes at least. and then how would it affect driving on i25 at 80mph??
