With out seeing the car it is kind of hard to give you an idea of what it is worth. I parked my 74 Mav. for a 3 years under some pine trees. So far I've rebuilt the engine,and tranny. Changed the oil in the rear,new interior(mold and mildew) fixed the floor boards(parked on the grass),complete brake job (master cyl. to the springs). My doors are rusted through at the bottom,and I had to put a new top on the car.All of these things are from sitting under some pine trees and not being drivin for 3 years. The car was rust free and clean when I parked it.(I know I'm stupid)
It sounds to me like you have found a perfect parts car that needs to be mated to a nice rust free 6 cylinder car. My $.02 Good Luck Russ
