The converson is DEFINITELY WORTH the effort...You MUST know what you're doing if you want satisfactory results though...I did the swap almost 11 years ago, but I remember "most" of what was involved...They are not power assisted though. It is basically a factory 1974 disc brake setup BUT with '75 calipers because the '75-'77 calipers are different and better. In '74 they used the same proportioning valve (which is not a prop.-valve at all but a junction block) as the earlier drum-brake cars. In '75 they started using an actual proportioning valve, the purpose for which is to limit rear-wheel lockup...that is the ONLY purpose for a prop.-valve on these cars...You must use a disc-brake master cylinder and change the fittings coming from the junction block into the master cylinder...
