: : I was just scannning these in and my scanner went belly up. Got to figure out if its worth fixing. Will post more later.

: You are taking exactly the same route that I am working on. I was in a helicopter crash (I was the pilot) so I have been in Physical Therapy for 8 months learning how to walk again. Fun, fun. But I will be working on my Maverick again before long. I will be watching your progress closely. What thickness steel will you be welding in? The jury is still out as to what trans to use, Auto or stick. I bought a 5 speed the other day for 50.00! Right place, right time. I will be waiting to see the rest of your pics.

It measures .028, cause I don't know what gage that is.(being a toolmaker and not a sheet metal guy). Toploader for me, cause I'm old and into that yestertech stuff.( not really ) I like manual trans cars, because when I go to the drags nowadays all I ever see in the faster cars is automatics. This form of masochism probably stems from the fact I cut my car teeth on 60's and 70's modifieds and gassers. Yes, I even wrenched on a friend's Chevy Corvette modified eliminator car. I'm sure Henry would forgive me this transgression. Well at any rate, keep workin out and just imagine pullin the lever on that 5-speed and you'll be there before you know it.
