In 1975 I was working as a salesman in a Chev-Olds dealership. One day this 75 year old guy drives in with a 69 Shelby Mustang with only 19000 miles on it. The car was mint, original everything. He traded it on a new Vette. Later, when he brought the Vette in for service, his dear old wife was heard to complain about how hard the Vette was to get in and out of! I could have bought that Shelby from our used car lot, wholesale + $50, for $2500!!! Oh, to know then what I know now! This story is absolute truth, so help me. John B.
