You could do it with 2 relays. They need to have a set of NO(normally open) & NC(normally closed) contacts. You would need to isolate the parking lights that you want to control. Wire the 12v line for the controlled lights to the first relay thru the NO contacts. Wire the coil of this relay to the parking light line. Then continue the controlled 12v line to the second relay thru the NC contacts and then to the parking lights. Wire this coil to the headlight 12v line. When parking lights are turned on, the first relay will energize & put 12v thru to the second relay which will not be energized. It will then go thru it & turn on your parking lights. As soon as the headlights are turned on, the second relay will energize & the line thru this relay will open & shut them off.
