I want to add some thoughts to wiring changes being made by any one on a car. Use a good grade automotive wire of correct size. Fuse new runs unless coming from another fused source. When going thru a metal panel, use rubber gromets to keep the wire insulation from cut thru. When somthing goes wrong the car goes up in flames. Engineer your jobs right and be safe.
