When you said tower braces I was thrown off. Yeah I know what you are talking about, I'd like to get one for my car as well. But I don't think it would necessarily cause alignment problems as many cars (including mine) have racked up many miles without the brace or abnormal wear. : I am talking about a brace running across the top of the engine compartment from one strut tower to the other. I saw it in a magazine and also in several that were converted. The weight tends to cause the strut towers to sag. If you put a SOLID brace in, this prevents that and keeps the alignment longer. The hard part is getting it to fit. I have limited options on mine since I am using the victor jr intake. The brace can't flex or the whole thing is worthless. Several of the racers here use them for when they pop the front end on take off. I just thought that everybody on the board would know about this. Like I said, I have a digital cam now, just need the engine in.. and a way to put one on mine.
