i don't know about bypassing it, but i have a B&M megashifter and i neede a neutral safety switch to pass tech at the track. i went to my local hi-po shop they sell it. it is a little switch that mounts on the shifter bracket. tapped in to the ignition wire at the silinoid. when it is in park the circuit is complete. out of park, the circuit is broken and it will not start.
