Had they done all the rest of the work? I hope you did't have to pay for all the work that was done twice!
Call around and get at least 3 other quotes. Take your car in for free esitmates and see if they'll do inspections... Tell them you've had work done on it but you to make sure it's ok.. ask them to prioritise.
Replacing the intake manifold will set you back another chunk of change. Who supplies the new parts? When Alice was going through her "money money" stage I insisted on buying the parts myself.. save bouco bucks that way...
