That got me thinking and I checked with copcars.com and found out that the NYPD DID have a few police mavericks in '77 but weren't entirely pleased with them. I think that any grabber mavericks would make a very cool police pursuit vehicle(especially the 71 or 72). Has any of you ever seen a maverick painted up as a patrol car? I bet somebody somewhere has experimented with a model that way. Just a thought!
