clifford manifold question

clifford performance offers a triple weber intake manifold for the 250 inline six. isn't the intake an integral part of the head? so how do you change it to the performance manifold. anybody who knows please tell me. i'm not gonna be able to sleep till i know how to do it !!! thanks ----george.
