Jason. SUMMIT has the kit in there catalog. It includes wire, battery can, hold down hardware etc.
When the battery is this far away every connection must be good or there will be hard starting problems.
I recommend that the starter solonoid be replaced as it has saw many years of service. Do to arcing that takes place
internally with every start, its contactors get burnt causing a higher resistance to the flow of current. The result
of this is lower voltage at the starter motor and slower cranking.
Cranking current can be in the hunderds of amps,so the voltage drop must be kept to a minimum.
When doing the battery hold down drill thru the floor pan to make sure the battery does not come loose.
My battery is mounted on the right side edge of the trunk.Secure the cable with insulated "eye" type fastners and get
the cable up far enough so it won't catch or rub on anything. At the right front wheel well my wire comes up from
under the car then thru the side of the engine bay to the starter solonoid.Anywhere it goes thru metal use a rubber
grommet insulator, the kind that has a grove around the outer edge and holds fast to the hole. The hole must be large
enough for the grommet and the wire without being a tight fit.Hope this gives some help. Ken
